I love layering stamps, but sometimes it seems they are less versatile than other stamps because we are so ingrained to think they can only be used with lots of different ink colors layered on top of each other.
First I'll share my tips and tricks for doing traditional layered stamping.
Then, we will have some fun trying out using layering stamps for different techniques like background stamping with just one layer.
Or white heat embossing a layer on colorful cardstock!
Or using a coordinating color of ink and cardstock. The tone on tone look is so fun!
Or stamping the detail layer on white cardstock that has been die cut! Add a bit of ink blending if the white is too stark!
Check out all of these techniques and cards in the video!

I don't know about you, but sometimes I really struggle with layered stamping. The one company whose layered stamps never seem to give me trouble is Sunny Studio's. They are super easy to line up AND they create the most detailed, realistic images!
I mean, seriously? Look at that basket and flowers! So easy to create and so many stunning details just from using a few stamp layers! If you want to see these stamps in action check out this video:And all the supplies I used are linked down below! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi everyone! In today's video, I am sharing a way to create layered stamped effects with Distress Oxide inks. Layered stamping with Distress Oxides is my favorite way to do layered stamping because if you don't get the stamps 100% lined up you can add a tiny bit of water to add some watercolored effects and cover your mistakes.
The Distress Oxides add such a pretty, chalky watercolor effect too!
