10 Ways to Use the Latest Premium Dye Inks from Catherine Pooler, The Stamp Market and Concord & 9th!

I waited a pretty long time before trying out the new formulation of dye inks that sit on a foam pad like those from Catherine Pooler, The Stamp Market and Concord &9th. But when I did, I was blown away! They really make it so easy to stamp bright, clear clean images in fabulous colors!

So I definitely love them for stamping, but I wondered what else these inks could do! I tried them with splattering and heat embossing,

I used them as watercolors,

and stenciling,

I tried them for ink blending and found they were also water reactive!

I tried them with direct to paper swiping.

And I tried them with smooshing! I loved them in all of these techniques!

To check out all 10 techniques and see how I turned those backgrounds into cards, check out the video here:

Karin Brushmarker PRO and Reverse Confetti

Today's video features Karin Brushmarkers and the Reverse Confetti Orange Blossoms stamp set.

First, I swatched the colors of the Brushmarkers using a Waffle Flower Stamp Set, Color Swatches for Watercolors. Then I used the markers to create a water droplet background and a watercolored image.

If you want to hear what I think of the Karin Brushmarkers and see the watercolor techniques I used to create this card, check out the video:

WOW! Catherine Pooler Inks Rock! Trying Out the Catherine Pooler Date Night Collection

I tried the new Catherine Pooler inks from the Date Night collection and all I can say is WOW! These ink pads seriously rock!
These inks have a formulation that I have never seen before. The ink pads are foam rather than felt. They are super juicy and the colors are bright and crisp and clear.
They stamp beautifully for fine details and large filled areas.
You can even use these inks to blend and they are water reactive too!
I can't say enough how much I love these new inks! I will be buying more for sure!
I share the colors of this collection and I share how I used Catherine Pooler stamps and dies to complete two cards in this short video:

Die Cut Inlay Techniques! 3 Ways with Trinity Stamps' Sweetheart Panel Die

Today's video shares various die cut inlay techniques to create three different cards using the Trinity Stamps Sweetheart panel die!
Of course you could use any panel die you have but I love this slimline die because it cuts out a ton of hearts and creates stitched lines around. the heart die cuts.
Whether you inlay the hearts into a doubled up background or pop up hearts from a blended background on foam tape...
or just inlay the hearts like puzzle pieces into the openings, these cards are quick and easy to make.

I love using Distress Oxide inks with my die cut inlay pieces, but you could use any panel die and inks you have! Here is the video if you want to see how I put together my three cards.

3 Ways to Use Distress Oxide Reinkers

If you have a bunch of these pretty little re-inkers on your shelf, I've got three ways to use them other than just keeping your ink pads juicy.
Let's be honest, ink pads stay juicy for a LONG time! Of course it is great to have reinkers for your favorite colors to make sure you can use them whenever you want to! But it's nice to know there are other uses for them as well!
You can dip a paint brush and then tap on the brush to create colorful splatters. You don't need to buy extra, expensive sprays!
They make great paints too! Since the Oxide formulation allows it to sit on top of the paper, you can even paint with great results on dark or kraft cardstock!
Or use an ink blower, like the kind you use for alcohol inks to create a fun background! This card was inspired by my friend (and fellow Waffle Flower design team member) Channin. You can see Channin's blog here: https://channin.wordpress.com/
Check out how easy these techniques are in my latest video:
