5 Ways to Use Large Sentiment Stamps

Today's video shares 5 ways to use large sentiment stamps. I am featuring the Simon Says Stamp / Waffle Flower collaboration, but unfortunately it sold out super duper fast!

But fortunately you can use all of these techniques with any large sentiment stamp you have in your stash! Or you can check out all of the oversized Waffle Flower sentiment stamps that I've linked to down below!

I love a good heat emboss resist with watercolor over large sentiments. Or a metallic  heat emboss OVER an ink stenciled background!

If you've seen any of my videos, you know I love rainbow stamping. So creating a rainbow stamped background has to be one of the techniques today!

I did incorporate some die cutting because I also love panel dies.

So stamping on two patterned paper background and then creating two multicolor stripe cards is perfect for a large sentiment too!

Last, but not least, one of my favorite aspects of Waffle Flower oversized sentiment stamp sets is that they have large script words and small straight font sub sentiments...lots of sub sentiments! So I like to use the main sentiment and then include anything that could be used together as far as the sub sentiments and stamp those in different colors!

You can see all of these techniques and cards here:

And don't forget to check out the other available oversized sentiments from Waffle Flower down below! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Therm O Web | Mass Produced Thank You Cards with Foiled Elements

There are so many people deserving of our thanks right now! Doctors and nurses, teachers, grocery store employees, delivery people and more! So sometimes you need a card design that you can quickly create multiple cards in a sitting.
In today's Therm O Web video, you can assembly line these cards to quickly create a bunch!
But, even when mass produced, Therm O Web cards should always shine! That's why I found a way to quickly create tiny "hand painted" foiled hearts on these cards.
Check out the video to see how it's done!

Faux Shaker Card with Waffle Flower Bear Hugs

I love shaker cards. I really do, but sometimes it drives me nutty that all the shaker goodies drop to the bottom of the card and can even end up hidden from view.
I knew that would be the case with this card because the image is so large and the shaker window would be blocked by it substantially.
So, I decided to make a FAUX shaker where the goodies inside would stay put!
I use Therm O Web's Glitter Dust to adhere some small sequins inside the shaker window so they get an extra shot of glitter AND stay put!

Watercolor Resist with Simon Says Stamp Kit

This week, the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Resist It. I decided to use the February Simon Says Stamp Kit A Colorful Crafty Life to create a stamped heat embossed watercolor resist.
The kit actually comes with a Daniel Smith watercolor palette and a waterbrush so I used those to watercolor over a stamped and heat embossed image for my resist.
If you would like to see how I created this card, check out my video here:

Congrats Rebecca, from Rebecca lol! I will email you to confirm your email address for sending the gift card! Stay tuned because I love doing giveaways as often as I can! Happy 2018!

I was thrilled to be asked to participate in this year's Top 10 Blog Hop! Definitely make your way through the entire hop because there are lots of giveaways throughout! And make your way to the end of the post to see my giveaway!

My first favorite from the year is a layout that I made for my Big Picture Classes Small Photos Make a Big Impact class where I show how to use small photos on projects.
For my second I chose a layout from another Big Picture Classes class called Two In One where you make a layout in each lesson and then use the remainder of the products from the layout to make a card.
For #3, I chose a layout I created when I guest designed for Ashley Horton's The Cut Shoppe.
For the fourth, I chose a Jillibean Soup layout. Designing for them has been a blast this year!
For the fifth project, I chose a layout I made for the Stash Bash video hop for the month of March. Stash Bash is a bunch of crafters trying to use up their stash rather than buy lots of new supplies. Check out my playlist on YouTube to see them all. We took a break for December, but we'll be back in January!
Now it's time to move onto some cards!
I've been designing for Therm O Web for years and every release gets better and better.
I had the opportunity to design for Queen & Co. this year and for me it was a match made in heaven. I love their bright colors, rainbow products and easy to create shakers!
I was thrilled to get the chance to guest design for Pretty Pink Posh this year!
I loved designing for Cardmaker Magazine this year too! We got the chance to take part in some super fun blog hops like this one with L'il Inker.
I also had the opportunity to design for Poppystamps this year! I love their dies and stamps.

Last but not least, I made a bunch of cards to participate in Simon Says Stamp challenges.
Ok, that's 12, but I had trouble narrowing them down! Thank you so much for making it through my top 12! My giveaway is a $15 gift card to Simon Says Stamp! There are several ways to enter.
1. Leave a comment on this post.
2. Follow my blog and leave a comment letting me know you do.
3. Go over to YouTube and subscribe to my channel. Leave a comment here letting me know you did.
