Die Cutting! Card Backgrounds, Images and Sentiments!


I love die cutting! There is a new Spellbinders Lisa Horton Collection called Summertime that has dies to create backgrounds, 


images, 


and even sentiments.


And although the collection is called Summertime, I hope you can see how versatiled it is!


Using die cutting to create cards is my favorite way to combine colors of cardstock and quickly create layered cards!

Mass Produce Cards! No Stamping Needed! Support Small Cardmaking Businesses Series - MFT

For today's episode of Support Small Cardmaking Businesses,  I am focusing on My Favorite Things (MFT). I've loved their stamps, dies, stencils, patterned paper and more for years! In today's feature, I am using MFT cardstock and 2 die sets to mass produce 4 cards with no stamping! 

I love how cute, bright and colorful cards can be even with no stamping involved!
And even with just a few die sets and some colorful cardstock you can create very different looks:

Queen and Co New Dies and More!

Hey Everyone! Just popping in to share some new Queen and Co dies that make cardmaking a breeze! First up, there are the Stackable Sentiments. These days cut the thin script sentiment and a shadow so you can layer different mediums like cardstock and glitter foam. Oh and Queen and Co has some fantastic new colors of glitter foam too!
They also have Foundation Dies sets 1 and 2 which cut all basic shapes that cardmakers need!

My favorites are the diagonal stitched pieces that stretch across a 4.25x5.5" card perfectly!
There are new sub sentiment stamps too!
And it wouldn't be a Queen and Co release without flowers!
