Queen and Co New Dies and More!

Hey Everyone! Just popping in to share some new Queen and Co dies that make cardmaking a breeze! First up, there are the Stackable Sentiments. These days cut the thin script sentiment and a shadow so you can layer different mediums like cardstock and glitter foam. Oh and Queen and Co has some fantastic new colors of glitter foam too!
They also have Foundation Dies sets 1 and 2 which cut all basic shapes that cardmakers need!

My favorites are the diagonal stitched pieces that stretch across a 4.25x5.5" card perfectly!
There are new sub sentiment stamps too!
And it wouldn't be a Queen and Co release without flowers!
I had such a blast creating with all these new goodies! You can find links to all the new products down below and I promise to film some videos soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Queen and Co NEW Metallic Dots and Cord

There are so many fabulous NEW products available at Queen and Co right now! Check them all out in this video unboxing:

One of my favorite new products is the Metallic Dots! They have so much shine and dimension in one tiny package!
Another favorite? The cord! It is kind of a stretchy string that is so different than most of the trims available in the papercrafting industry and the bright colors are awesome!
I paired them with some Waffle Flower rainbow stamps for a clean and simple design.
I have lots more cards coming with these and all the other Queen and Co NEW products so be sure to keep an eye on the blog and my YouTube channel. For a peek at these products, check out the list down below!

Rainbow Stamping Techniques and Rainbow Patterned Paper

This week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is Anything Goes using Doodlebug Design products!
My favorite Doodlebug Design products are their rainbow patterned papers. I thought it would be fun to combine them with a few rainbow stamping techniques to make a few cards.
I used mini ink cubes to craete a rainbow stamped image.
I used the MISTI to stamp a sentiment mutiple times in a rainbow of inks.
And, I used small image stamps to embellish a simple black ink sentiment. Check out all the techniques and how to put together these three cards in this video:
If you love rainbows too, be sure to check out the supplies I used below! Thanks for stopping by!

Distress Oxide Texture Backgrounds

This week, the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  is to use texture and Tim Holtz products. I had some Tim Holtz Texture Fades that were perfect for creating tons of texture.
Of course I HAD to add Distress Oxides over the top too!
I love the way the Distress Oxides look on top of the embossed panels.
There is so much going on between the texture and colors that I left the rest of the cards simple. I added some die cut sentiments and a few Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops and called it a day!
Check out this video to see how easy it is to add Distress Oxide ink over embossed backgrounds for a full texture effect!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Snow Globes are NOT Just for Snow!

I love the Queen and Co. Snow Globe Shaker Kit, but in the Southwest, we don't get a lot of snow. So I found new ways to use the kit beyond the traditional snow scene:
Like this bright rainbow shaker! I used the snow globe circle die to die cut several circles of bright patterned paper and then trimmed them to different widths and layered them inside the shaker. I curved the sentiment stamp on an acrylic block so I could stamp it around the circle.

I also went for a non traditional snow globe look with this card. In fact I did not use the snow globe base so it is really just a circle shaker.
I also used some Distress Oxide Inks to create an inked card panel and used the same colors to stamp small flowers from the set inside the shaker. I used Staz On ink to stamp the sentiment right on the shaker window.
So, even if you're done with winter and snow, don't hesitate to pick up the Queen and Co Snow Globe kit for lots of fun shaker cards and then next year when you're excited about the first snow, you can pull the stamps and dies out again to start your holiday cards! If you're interested in the supplies I used, they will all be linked down below. Thanks for stopping by!
