December Memories Layout with Jillibean Soup

It's December! If you are not doing a December Daily album this year you might be interested in getting some December memories scrapbooked. You don't need a Christmas-themed collection either! I used Jillibean Soup Farmhouse Stew Collection and Shades of Color collection too to create this December memories layout.
You can see a bunch of Jillibean Soup products down below. Thanks for stopping by!

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

I am so excited to be taking part in this year's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! Have you seen all the sponsors that Tracey has this year?!
AMAZING, right??? Check out all the details on Tracey's blog HERE. My tag is part of the Jillibean Soup group so of course I had to create a Shaped Shaker Tag!
For the mini trees and sentiment I used last year's Jillibean Soup Snowglobe stamp set. There are lots of cute images in there for building a snowglobe scene so I used the mini trees to build a background.  I stamped the trees with Distress Oxide Lucky ink and once dry added white dots from a gel pen and tiny stars on top with a silver glitter gel pen. I gold heat embossed the sentiment and added some red Jillibean Soup sequins to the background with tiny drops of Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops on top. All of the products I used will be linked down below!
I hope you will play along and make a tag! Be sure to leave me a comment down below too! There are so many awesome prizes up for grabs! Good luck!

Jillibean Soup Shades of Color Collection

I am LOVING the new Jillibean Soup Shades of Color collection! What's not to love about bright, happy colors, paint swatch patterned papers and creativity themes? I have been using this collection on a ton of projects recently.
If you haven't checked out the Jillibean Soup designed digital cuts in the Silhouette store, you must! They are awesome. The Be Your Own Kind of Amazing is available there.
If you don't have a Silhouette, you can always grab the large die cut letters that coordinate with the collection like I did for this layout:
But if you DO have a Silhouette, they sell the same alphabet there too!
Another great thing about Jillibean Soup collections is that you can often mix and match collections very easily. I used both Shades of Color and Farmhouse Stew for this layout documenting our puppies' first birthday.
Another of my favorites from Jillibean Soup is the shakers! I can't get enough of the new shapes and seed beads and wood veneer shakers!
You can't go wrong with a Distress Oxide Inked background either!
Phew! Tons of projects with the new collections! Have you been creating with them! I would love to hear what you are making!
If you're interested in the products I used, they are all linked down below! Thanks for stopping by!

Distress Oxide Ink Stamped Background

It is true that Distress Oxide Inks are amazing for blending and techniques, but did you know they are also fabulous for stamping! This card background was stamped with three different Distress Oxide Inks and look at the detail and vibrant colors!
Check out this video to see how I created this card using the Jillibean Soup Bowl of Dreams stamps and Distress Oxide Inks:
Curious about the supplies I used? They are all linked down below! Have a great day!

Jillibean Soup Shaped Shakers

I love the matching stamps, dies and shaped shakers by Jillibean Soup. I decided to really play with the stamps for these cards rather than use patterned paper and I am quite happy with the results.
I used two different sizes of the bubble gum stamps and a rainbow of different inks to create the bubble gum background. I also stamped and colored in the gumball machine and filled the shaped shaker with a rainbow of sequins.
This second card was simpler in that I didn't stamp a background or color anything in. Instead, I played with a fun color combination.
I did stamp and cut out a few lemon slices to add to my jar shaped shaker and I added some blue sequins to look like ice cubes!
I had so much fun with the stamping on these shaker cards! I definitely recommend taking a closer look at the coordinating shaped shaker Jillibean Soup stamps!

Summer Celebrations with Jillibean Soup

Time to share my June Jillibean Soup creations! We started summer break off with a splash and I loved the big alphas to title this summer break layout!
Most of the papers and embellishments are from the Souper Celebration collection but there are a few from Chit Chat Chowder too!
This summer our babies turned one! Our furry babies lol1
This time I mixed the Bowl of Dreams and Souper Celebration alphas to create my big title.
I have been wanting to use that little lama somewhere and I thought this little scene under the puppy pictures was the perfect place!
Birthday cards come together quickly when you use Jillibean Soup's Souper Celebration collection. Pea Pod Parts and Wood Veneer for the win!
My one Bowl of Dreams project this month was this little thank you card. I die cut a piece of the floral patterned paper into a rectangle and then die cut part of it with a circle die to create a little table for my pineapples to sit on.
Well that is it for this month! I may have heard that NEW Jillibean Soup collections may be coming soon, but you didnt hear it from me lol!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

No Measure Altered Composition Book

Years ago, a friend of mine (and fellow paper crafter), Diana Waite posted a cool project on her blog where she covered a composition book with scrapbook paper. She gave them as gifts because honestly, who doesn't love a new journal? I created one myself and it has become one of my most popular pins (check it out HERE). But, that was a while ago too, so I decided to update this project using the Jillibean Soup Collection Bowl of Dreams Collection.
I love adding tabs that I punch with We R Memory Keeper Tab Punches.
I also cover some of the pages with patterned paper to act as dividers.
You can see how I create these altered composition books without a ruler or measuring of any kind in this video:
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Jillibean Soup Souper Celebration

I was up on the Jillibean Soup blog the other day using the brand new Souper Celebration collection!
I love how Paige Taylor Evans combines watercolor and stitching and had to give it a try with this big 10.
I put together quick process video to show how this layout came together:
