Brand NEW Pink & Main Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush

I am so excited to be able to help spread the word that Pink & Main has released a brand NEW MINI Ergonomic Blending Brush.
I am a big fan of the original Ergonomic Blending Brush because I have a very heavy hand when it comes to ink blending and the Ergonomic Blending Brush gives me tons of control and allows me to create pretty, soft ink blended backgrounds.

The new Mini size is awesome for getting into smaller spaces, covering a stencil with multiple colors of ink and creating more colors on a gradient nackground.

Plus, since the price point is several dollars lower than the original, I am able to pick up more and use them with all my favorite colors of Distress Oxide inks.
In this video I share my favorite aspects to this new fabulous blending tool:

How to Create Multi Color Stamped Backgrounds

Hi everyone! Today I have a new video from my Support Small Cardmaking Businesses Series featuring Concord & 9th and creating multi color stamped backgrounds.
If you don't have large background stamps, you can use small stamps and different color inks to achieve this effect.
If you do have large backgrounds, you can use ink cube to selectively ink those backgrounds.
Or you can use a stamp positioner to layer colors on a large background stamp and stamp it multiple times.
But the easiest way to create multi colored stamped backgrounds is to use Concord & 9th's Turn About Stamps.
Now that they include a positioner sheet and you can purchase a re-usable jig, this system is super easy to use!
Check out my video where I share these techniques and how easy it is to use the latest iteration of the Turn About System from Concord & 9th.

Waffle Flower July Release + a Giveaway!!

I don't know about you, but I could certainly use some cheer this summer! So I am so happy to report that Waffle Flower’s Christmas in July Release is available today!

**Please note: Waffle Flower didn’t anticipate the popularity of this release and more stamps will be restocked around July 9th and dies around July 21st.

Let's dive right into this awesome release! I started with the adorable Happy Gnomes and thought a rainbow of gnomes on a slim line card would be a fun and unique holiday card! Sometimes I really like using non-traditional color combos for my Christmas cards.
Next, I stamped and Copic colored all the little images from the FaLaLa Combo. I had to use all three stamp groupings because they were all so cute. I tucked my mice groupings behind a piece of Waffle Flower Half Half Dots patterned paper that I cut with the Nesting Hexagons Die. The Christmas tree is from an older stamp set, Deck the Halls.
I had a ton of fun coloring the Holly Bird Combo and decorating the cute bird's hat. I die cut the bird and then die cut 3 sizes of hexagons from some color cardstock to create this layered look.
Of course I had to turn the Be a Reindeer die into Rudolph by foiling his nose! I created some foil star accents too by die cutting Therm O Web's Double Sided Foam Adhesive with Waffle Flower's Nesting Star Die and foiling with gold Transfer Sheets.
Next, I created this shimmery card using the Poinsettia Combo. I stamped and no line colored the poinsettias and then re-stamped and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. I placed them on a gold glitter cardstock die cut with the Nesting Hexagon Die.
And lastly, I created this simple peace card by stamping and silver heat embossing the background with several small images. I die cut the background with the Blanket Layer Die and then I layered the die cut Peace Word Die several times to create tons of dimension.
This month I filmed a video featuring these cards and 5 ways to make your holiday cards extra special. You can check it out here:

I have a couple of other non-holiday cards that were created with the Classic Sentiments Combo:
