Waffle Flower November 2019 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hey everyone! It's my favorite time of the month! Waffle Flower release day! There are so many fun stamps and dies this month and there is literally something for everyone! First up is the Floral Bundle.

The Floral Bundle includes the Sunflower Love Stamp Set with Matching Die and is so much fun to color!

The Simply Said Sentiments Stamp Set and Matching Die pairs perfectly with Sunflower Love, but would also work with lots of other stamp sets. The elegant labels and script font look stunning with flowers!
I made another card with them. For this one I stampeded on yellow Cardstock, colored with Copics and then re-stamped and heat embossed with Gina K Designs Rose Gold embossing powder.
I love how the embossing powder pairs with the metallic cardstock.
Next up is the Whimsical Bundle!

The first card I made with this bundle was this one made with Blessed Bear Stamp Set and Matching Die. I love the sweet bear and bird friends illustrated by Big Bear & Bird.

I used the Forestscaoe Panel Die to create the trees in the background. Of course the night sky and grass were blended with Distress Oxide Inks.
Another set from the Whimsical Nundle is the Winter Hamster Stamp Set with Matching Die.
There are plenty of cute hamsters to choose from. I chose the sledding duo so I could place them in the Forestscape Panel Die.
I also used the Winter Hamsters with the Cozy Cabin Die.
I loved hanging the candy canes from the tree and the stockings from the chimney.
Last, but not least is the Creative Bundle.
First up from the Creative Bundle is this card made with the Herringbone Panel Die.
I turned mine into a shaker card and used the Merry and Bright sentiment from the Herringbone Panel Stamp Set.
I also used the Herringbone Panel Die to create a background for my Merry Wreath Stamp Set scene.
I love the white on white background for the sweet scene!
And last but not least, I have a card with the Rainbow Thank You Die. There are so many possibilities with this die!
I chose to cut all the layers out of a rainbow of yardsticks and pop them up on black cardstock for a 80's neon look!
Ok that's all my cards! Thanks for making it all the way through all those photos! Comment below and tell me your favorite or tell me which product you'd most like to work with form this release. By commenting, you have the chance to win one of three $25 gift cards to the Waffle Flower shop!

WAFFLE FLOWER October 2019 RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY!

Today is a really good day. Saturday's rule! Plus, it's World Cardmaking Day! Gotta love that! AND it's Waffle Flower Release Day! Woohooo! And you know what that means?! Tons of card ideas AND a chance to win a $25 gift certificate! Cha-Ching!
This month at Waffle Flower, we broke all the products into 3 bundles. When you buy a whole bundle, you get a discount, so more bundles means more ways to save money! YAY!
My first card is from the floral bundle. Peony Bouquet has so many stunning details that I decided to ombre stamp it rather than color it in and you can still see all the amazing details!
I used Distress Oxide for the ink blended background AND for the stamping!
I also created a tone on tone effect by stamping with Gina K ink on Gina K Cardstock and then paper pieced the die cut images.
A Little Note is a sweet 3x4 floral stamp set. Even with the matching dies it is a budget friendly floral set which makes it the perfect set to try out if you want to get started coloring flowers. For this one I stamped with grey ink on grey yardstick and colored the image with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. Colored pencils look amazing on grey cardstock!
Next, I have several cards with the Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set. For this one, I ink blended the background and then stamped with Vermark Ink and heat embossed clear embossing powder on top of the ink blended background. It gives the leaves a pretty watermark effect.
Whereas with this one, I stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder first. Then I ink blended on top. I wiped away any ink that had deposited on the heat embossed leaves and revealed the white cardstock underneath!
Lastly, I stamped with Distress Oxide ink on Kraft cardstock.
Next up is the Whimsical Bundle!
I created this little Ciao card using the polaroid from the Go Girl Winter Die.
Lastly, we have the Creative Bundle which is a fun mix of cool dies and sentiment stamps.
I used the Oversized Thank You Word Die with the Lattice Panel Die. I cut out the center of the lattice so you could really see the pretty brush lettered font of the thank you.
Holiday Hugs is a fun die that creates a hug on a card! I turned my hug into Santa arms with red arms, black mittens and white cuffs!
I used the sentiment die to cut out the Hugs, also cut out a heart and then used the Holiday Hugs sentiment stamp set to stamp the sentiments.
Phew! What a fun release with tons for everyone! Now it is time for the giveaway! If you just came along to my blog be sure to start at Waffle Flower's blog post. Here is the whole list of the hop:
If you leave comments on all the blog posts you are entered to win one of three $25 gift certificates to Waffle Flower's shop! Be sure to comment by 10/7 for your chance to win! Thanks for stopping by!

Faux Shaker Card with Waffle Flower Bear Hugs

I love shaker cards. I really do, but sometimes it drives me nutty that all the shaker goodies drop to the bottom of the card and can even end up hidden from view.
I knew that would be the case with this card because the image is so large and the shaker window would be blocked by it substantially.
So, I decided to make a FAUX shaker where the goodies inside would stay put!
I use Therm O Web's Glitter Dust to adhere some small sequins inside the shaker window so they get an extra shot of glitter AND stay put!
