Craft Room and Craft Supply Organization

This may be weird to say, but one of the things I love most about crafting is the organization! I feel like craft supplies are the one thing I can easily put in ROYGBV order and so the organization is aesthetically pleasing and makes sense!

If you are looking for a way to organize (and swatch) your colorful cardstocks, I have an organization video here:

And a swatching video of the new Spellbinders cardstocks here:

One of my favorite things about organizing craft supplies is that they can also serve as decor!

You can see the sugar jar as twine organizers here:

In that same video, I discuss how I use nail polish organizers for lots of crafty sprays, ink refills and more.

I discuss other ways to use them such as for foil rolls...

and other ideas here:

I have a few other declutter and organization and storage idea videos. You can see my whole organizatin playlist here:

Happy organizing!

Craft Room Declutter! Organize More Helped Me Declutter My Desk Drawers!

Hey everyone! Is it just me or do you feel the need to declutter in January too? My desk drawers were in desperate need of some help. You'll have to check out the video to see what I mean because no way am I sharing a photo here lol! I turned to one of my favorite small family owned businesses, Organize More for help!

I got my Prismacolor pencils out of the drawer and onto my desk.

My Alex 5 drawer unit went from a scary place to a practical and organized space!

And my 6 drawer Alex unit which housed my embossing powders finally looks less like a hurricane hit!

When everything has its place, it is much easier to find what I need and clean up when I am done, leaving more time for cardmaking!
Check out the video to see how I decluttered here:

More Craft Cart Organization Ideas with Alvorog Utility Cart + Discount Code!

Hey all! You know I love affordable ways to organize supplies, right? Well, I was thrilled when Alvorog reached out to me to try their utility cart that COMES with a bunch of storage and organization supplies along with their adorable cart, all for under $40! I got to work assembling the cart (super easy!) and then pulled a bunch of supplies I wasn't sure what to do with and came up with this!
There are hanging cups for pens or hole punches. There is a tray divider to create compartments on a tray so I could organize things like paint bottles and stamp rollers. And there are hooks too! Once it was done, I felt like I could do better! I decided to organize all of our office supplies instead!
Between me and my husband working from home and having two kids in school, we have a ton of ball point pens, pencils, extra pairs of scissors and more! This cart ended up being the absolute perfect way to organize all those supplies!
Although the baskets are plastic, the poles, base, handle and hardware are metal and it definitely felt sturdy enough to even hold things like a ream of printer paper, loose leaf and graph paper.
If you want to see how easy this cart is to put together and how I decided what supplies to organize with it, check out the video here:

Alvorog has generously offered all of you a 15% coupon on their already incredibly affordable cart. Simply use the code KABYU4L8 when purchasing at Amazon here: https://amzn.to/3pP9OgJ You can also see all the colors the cart comes in down below, but this discount is on the white cart linked here: https://amzn.to/3pP9OgJ! This discount lasts until the end of the month (January 31 23:59PST)!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy Organizing!

Craft Room Upgrade with 2 Products from Organize More

It looks like I will be sharing my office with my husband for much longer than we thought. When we started sharing the space in March, I moved everything one desk onto the other so he could have that desk to himself. That meant the desk I use is a bit overloaded. Supplies started getting stacked higher and higher and it started to feel more cluttered and less organized. I needed an upgrade without spending a ton of money upgrading the entire room (i.e. purchasing new furniture like a new desk). So I turned to Organize More.
I had previously purchased the marker organizers and mini ink cube organizers from Organize More.
I share how I moved some of the supplies to my cubes to nailpolish organizers and how I organize the Copics and ink pads in Organize More's organizers in this video:

I have all the organizers I used linked down below.

Top 5 Cheap Craft Supply Storage Hacks

My latest video is live and it was a FUN one to create! I am sharing my top 5 cheap and easy to find craft storage hacks. I love finding affordable ways to organize my supplies. Like this nail polish organizer for ink daubers, crystal drops and more!
I also love these large fridge bins for paper pads, stencils and large stamp sets.

These extra large binder rings are great for organizing washi tape, products on backer cards and tags.
These sugar dispensers are fabulous for large spools of twine or even loose ribbon.
These ink pad organizers aren't technically a hack since they are made to store ink pads, but the hack is all the neat stuff you can store on top of these organizers! Everything from Copic refills, ink pad refills and more!
Check out the video to see all these storage ideas in action!
I've linked all the products I used down below.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stay safe, stay healthy and I'll see you again soon!
