2018 Top Ten YouTube Hop + YouTube Giveaway!!

Hi everyone! I am super excited to be a part of the 2018 Top Ten YouTube Hop where a bunch of crafters got together to share their favorite projects from 2018! I have a giveaway on YouTube so be sure to check out my video here:

But, I wanted to share my projects here too because YouTube will only allow you to link to 5 videos inside a video so I thought I would share the underlying technique and product videos here:
Check out the Queen and Co Pom Poms and this rainbow card here:

Check out two fun ways to use Nested Dies and create cards with cardstock only here:

Sadly the Queen and Co Love Jar kit that I used for this card is no longer available. Queen and Co kits sell out fast, so if there is something that you love there, snap it up quickly!

These cards were made for a Stash Bash hop, which is a monthly hop where a bunch of crafters try and use up a stash of a particular type of product.

This month was colored cardstock and I came up with 5 ways to use colored cardstock on cards. Check out the video here:

This layout was made for my friend Christine Meyer's Stealing Saturday series. Check out my video here:

I don't have a video for the card above but it was made with Waffle Flower's Sweater Weather Stamp Set and Matching Dies. But....I can share that I am working with Waffle Flower now and Waffle Flower has a ton of exciting news for 2019. Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel for more information!
Another scrappy friend of mine, Audrey Yeager hosted a fun Summer Scrappin YouTube series and here is my video for that:

And last, but not least, I do a ton of videos over at the Therm O Web YouTube Channel. I can't share them on my YouTube Channel though and I often don't have time to do new ones for my own channel. One of my favorite products of theirs is the Gina K for Therm O Web StampNFoil Line.

I created this video for the Winter 2018 line:
this one for the Fall 2018 release:

and a how to create multi color stamping with the this StampNFoil collection:

So that's it! If you want to see my Top Ten favs from 2018, start with the video at the top and be sure to enter my giveaway. There are a bunch of other crafters involved in the hop and I've listed all their videos in my YouTube description. If you want to dive into the techniques and products used to make my top 10, be sure to check out all the videos above!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Let's Party with Simple Stories!

Let's be honest. Every papercrafter needs a good birthday collection in their stash, right? Well, look no further. Simple Stories Let's Party collection is fun, happy, bright, versatile enough for boys and girls and is perfect for cards, layouts and more! I cut this fun little party heart card with my Cameo.
The chipboard and die cuts in this collection are AMAZING. Check out those cute little balloons! You can use the chipboard strings that come in the set or attach twine like I did. Either way it is pretty easy to pull together a birthday card that will make someone smile. :)

I also decided to take a walk down memory lane and scrapbook some of my kids younger birthdays. The Chipboard frames are perfect for adding a bunch of photos including those detail shots like ones of the cake and presents. I had so much fun filling one frame with a mix of Bradz, Enamel Dots, Photo Stickers and Chipboard Stickers! And how about that big 1? I may need several more packs of those die cut numbers, I just love them so!
For this layout I created a large cake for the background and stitched around each layer. The stickers, die cuts and embellishments all work so well together in this collection!
Playing with these old photos and this cute new collection has me inspired to do a mini album of each kids birthday. Let's Party has so many fun stickers, embellishments and patterned papers for all types of birthday projects!

Simple Stories Claus & Co. Round Up

When I first saw the Claus & Co. collection previewed at the SPC summer trade show, I immediately fell in love. I couldn't believe how MUCH I loved it considering I usually struggle with themed collections - especially Christmas-themed collections because I am never very happy with my Christmas photos. But, I could instantly see the potential for this collection to create a variety of fun projects. So I did! I made everything from tags:
to cards,

 and layouts.

I even created the start of a December album. I have everything ready to go in my album and now that December is finally here, I can begin to add my photos and stories!

If you are interested in creating an album like this one, I have a class over at Scrapbook.com right now called Document Your December. I would love if you would join me over there. It is a FREE class and it was a lot of fun to put together!

I have loved using this collection and will continue to enjoy making holiday decorations, teacher's cards and more this month with it! If you haven't already, go run and get yourself some Claus & Co. and have fun creating during the holiday season!
