Welcome to the Poppystamps and Buttons Galore blog hop! There are tons of prizes to be had, so stick around to find out how to win! If you came here from Robin Tharaldson's blog you are in the right place! If you just happened here and you want to participate in the hop, be sure to start at the Poppystamps blog!
I had so much fun combining Poppystamps stamps and dies and Buttons Galore embellishments. First, I created a fall shaker card.
I used Poppystamps Brilliant Leaf Frame and Stitched Oak Tree Leaf dies. I also used the Magic and Sparkle stamp and die set and filled my shaker window with embellishments from the Buttons Galore Autumn Afternoon Embellishment kit.
I love shaker cards but sometimes I get frustrated that all the shaker goodies fall to the bottom of the window except when you are actively shaking the card. So I decided to find a way to make a faux shaker card where the shaker goodies stay in place.
I used the brand NEW Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Poppystamps design for Stamptember Magical Wishes. This is a limited edition stamp set so once it sells out, it will be gone for good! So be sure to grab yours as soon as possible. I will have it and all the other products I used down below. I added the Buttons Galore Sequin Tin called Festival of Lights to create the faux shaker look.
Want to see how I got those sequins and shaker goodies to quickly and easily stay put? Check out my video:
