Exclusive Digi Cuts - Scrapbook Circle Love Notes Kit

Did you know that Scrapbook Circle creates exclusive digital die cuts to coordinate perfectly with each of their monthly kits? This month's was an amazing 12 x 12 border of X's and O's which coordinates perfectly with the Love Notes kit.
My absolute favorite thing to do with background die cuts is to cut them on  silhouette out of  white cardstock and back them with fun patterned papers. The Love Notes kit also came with a piece of aqua corrugated cardstock from Fancy Pants and I thought it would make a fun background peeking through the die cut X's and O's!
I am also a big fan of filling open spaces of my digital die cut backgrounds with fun embellishments. That was easy to do with Love Notes and the add ons. I filled most of the O's with patterned papers that I punched with a 3/4" punch and popped up with dimensional adhesive. Several of the O's I filled in with the Fancy Pants flair from the Hot Stuff add on.
I was thinking that this border shrunk down would make a cute card front too!

CardMaker Magazine and Riley and Co. Blog Hop

Hi all! This is my first blog hop as a design team member with the CardMaker Design team! The CardMaker Blog team has joined up with the stamp and die company Riley and Company to give you lots of inspiration using their products.

First, I used the Tree Stump House stamp. I heat embossed the image on water color paper and then easily colored in all the little spots with a water brush and watercolor cakes.

Next I used a combination of Red Rubber Basic Stamps, Riley Dress Up Stamps and Dies. I colored my stamped images with Copic markers and then die cut or fussy cut them out. On this first card I combined them with the Abs are Great stamp to make a birthday card.
And on this one I combined them with the Word Bubbles Die Set to make a hello card.
The Riley and Company stamps and dies were so much fun to play with! Check them out for sure! But first hop on over to Katie Skiff's blog! If you ever get lost along the way, just head on back to the CardMaker blog because they will have the whole list!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

4 Cards 1 Die Cut Pack - Scrapbook Circle

For my post on the Scrapbook Circle blog, I was challenged to use The Project Life Ephemera from the kit Love Notes. I decided to use them as the focal element for a bunch of cards. Once I got going, it was easy to make 4 different cards in 4 different shapes and several themes.

Valentine's kits are always my favorite because they are so versatile and can be used for so many different projects! If you feel the same, you will LOVE this month Love Notes. Be sure to check out the add ons too. This month I bought both the Hot Stuff add on, True Love add on and the More January paper add on.

Check them out before they sell out! Thanks so much for stopping by!
