I love the Scrapbook Circle Planner add ons! This month the planner add on features lots of fun goodies to make a bunch of planner spreads.
For this month's tech tip, I created a stenciled Distress Ink background for my planner spread. The pineapples add a touch of whimsy and fun to my otherwise white background.
The fun Scrapbook Circle elements on top are so fun to coordinate too! I created a video to demonstrate how to make a fun colorful background for planner spreads:
Let’s be honest….I have terrible handwriting! But I love the look of brush lettered sentiments on cards! Even better when that brush lettering is foiled! So, I love using the iCraft Deco Foil Designer Stencils to create foiled sentiments.
Use the Therm O Web Deco Foil™ Adhesive Pen to fill in the template. Then cover with your favorite color of foil. Either run through a laminator or your manual die cutting machine.
Once foiled, the sentiment acts as a resist, so you can watercolor on top and the foil will resist the watercolor paints.
Create an image with a stamped and heat embossed image to watercolor as well.
The iCraft Deco Foil Designer Stencils come in so many styles that you have tons of sentiments and fonts to choose from to create a variety of cards!
I made a video to show how much fun it is to use this resist technique and the iCraft templates:
