Scrapbook Circle Take 2 - For the Love of Circles

I love circles. One of my favorite ways to design a layout is to cut out circles and place them in a grid format. I started with the Pink Fresh Studio patterned paper found in last month's kit. Some of the circles I punched out. Then I layered some punched out circles over other circles using 3 dimensional adhesive.

I had so much filling in the circles with photos, stickers and other embellishments that I decided to do a similar layout this month.

For this month's layout, I used April's kit Let's Do This and started with a striped piece of paper, which led to the decision of how to create my circles. I decided to cut them out with the Silhouette Cameo. I backed the cut patterned paper with black cardstock. Next I punched smaller circles from patterned paper . Then comes the fun of embellishing! Stickers and die cuts are an easy choice!

The Heidi Swapp frames and Pink Fresh Studio die cuts from the Add On This Way, added glittery and shiny touches.IMG_2851

I decided that the design of circles went perfectly with the theme of doughnuts so I also cut a doughnut shape with the Silhouette. The sequins made perfect, yummy looking sprinkles and the mini alphas were easily places in an arc for the title.IMG_2853
Take 2 is one of my favorite blog series because I love looking at an old design with fresh eyes and coming up with a new way to use it!
