I suggested a photo shoot over the weekend. Lucky me, I always have willing participants. I think the one in the bottom left corner may be one of my favorite photos ever taken :)
Speaking of Little Miss, we are going through yet another challenging stretch. She is SO good at school, such a good kid with friends, so well behaved with every other adult on the planet--other than her parents ;) So I recently had a discussion with her about how even when we are going through a tough time that of course I still love her. And so, of course I had to document it :)
Do you scrapbook the trying moments or just the bright, happy ones?
On a completely different note...I had a quick tutorial on the Therm O Web blog yesterday. Just explaining how I made the sandy "beach" at the bottom of this layout:
(Made with scraps from the sold out Scrapbook Circle kit and Therm O Web adhesives (listed at the end of the Therm O Web blog post HERE).
Have a great night! Happy almost Friday!

OMGosh!!! Look at her!!! These pics turned out beautifully! I guess they would if you have such a beautiful subject to photograph! And those eyes.......!
ReplyDeleteLove both layouts and the journaling on the first one hit home with me! I can see me and Gracie going through that in the next couple of years. I LOVE that you're reassuring her that no matter what you love her! You are such a great mommy!!
gorgeous girl in that photoshoot. wow- that color is beautiful on her. how fun!
ReplyDeletei just HEART that "tough times" LO. we have so many of those around here... i swear jack is more dramatic that a teen girl. i think you've inspired me to do a LO similar. aside from topic, i love the LO as a whole- papers, design, etc! AND the sea shell LO with all the fun buttons- fabulous! :)
Wow, really stunning layouts and more great photos to scrap too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layouts Rebecca. I feel your pain about the rough times. Kayla gives us a run for our money and i'm sure it will get worse as she gets older. She's great at school and then awful at home. I think she spends so much energy being good at school, she just falls apart at home. It's a constant struggle and learning experience for both of us.
ReplyDeleteOn a brighter note. I love the photo shoot photos. Beautiful photos of your girl!!!
my GOODNESS those pictures are AWESOME! I do have to agree that the bottom left is GREAT! LOVING these stunning layouts as well--TOTALLY amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little photo shoot. How nice to have a willing participant. Love the layouts. Those buttons look so cool.
ReplyDeleteI'be said it before . . your girl is soooo beautiful! I love that layout - I think it's important to create layouts like that, it's not all roses! I'm lovin' the chevron too! xx
ReplyDeleteOhh my! I am so in love with these pages! Just adore that button beach idea... adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour photo shoot pix are darling... great job!
