Scrapbook Circle's High Five

The May Scrapbook Circle kit is available NOW! It is called High Five and you want one, really you do. It is an amazing kit.
Lots of fun Heidi Swapp and Amy Tan goodies and lots of fun to be had! Here is the first layout I made with this kit.
I had a blast with all the little bits and pieces of the main kit and I couldnt resist the Add On Sweet Treats (sorry that one is sold out!) but My Fave is still available!
If you are tired of the winter doldrums and need a shot of bright and happy, this kit will provide just what you are looking for!

Therm O Web and Elle's Studio

Partnering Elle's Studio with Therm O Web was an absolute joy! Elle's Studio tags work amazing with Therm O Web adhesives - especially the Therm O Web 3D Zots. This layout came together in a snap!

To create the tire embellishment for the title, use Elle's Studio patterned paper, cardstock and Therm O Web iCraft Sheets.

rk tow elles 3
Remove one side of the iCraft backing and place on the corner of black cardstock.

rk tow elles 4
Flip cardstock over and lay cardstock with iCraft sheet on a Silhouette Cameo cutting mat.

rk tow elles 5
The i Craft sheet is on the underside of the left hand upper corner, so make sure your cut files are in that same spot.

After cutting out the shapes peel off the mat and you will be left with adhesive shapes!

Simply adhere to the layout and voila, you've created your own self adhesive embellishment!

Use Therm O Web 3D Zots to pop up the tags and journaling cards.

They add a lot of dimension to an otherwise flat layout.

rk tow elles 9
I used plenty of 3D Zots on this layout too.

Thanks to Elle's Studio for sharing such fun patterned papers, tags, journaling cards and stamps! They coordinated perfectly with Therm O Web Adhesives!

Scrapbook Circle's Bucket List

Confession time. I NEVER know what to do with the millions of soccer photos I take of both kids during the season. Usually I do nothing with them -EEK! Why? Most are not great photos and very few tell a story. Except these.

Truth be told the photos themselves are not superb. They're not even real soccer photos per say. I was so excited that my little dude just scored a goal that I missed taking a picture of said goal. But I did get the big hug my husband (the coach) gave him after he scored his goal. And well, that is a story that needed to be told :)

Pulling together some of the more graphic and number-based tags, papers and embellishments from the Scrapbook Circle kit Bucket List I created a sporty layout that also told an important story.

So I guess I learned my lesson. Keep taking those imperfect pictures because one day you will come upon one or a few that tells an important story.
