For today's card, I used the Happy Days Circle sets and the Candibean Safari stamps and dies. I love that the Candibean Safari stamps and dies come in the same package!
Have you tried your hand at using a blending brush yet? The great thing about blending brushes is that they work with pretty much any kind of ink including the fabulous LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks.
I started by die cutting the scalloped edge circle from the Happy Days Circle dies set out of smooth white cardstock. Next, I grabbed the Dark Wash Jeans Ink and used it to lightly blend color for the sky. Then, I used Olive Branch to create the grass. The brush creates a light textured look that is the perfect backdrop for scenes.
I used the Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp my Candibean Safari monkey, tree, grass and banana and used the same ink for the sentiment. The Hybrid ink works well with Copics so I colored my images before adhering them to my brushed background.
Be sure to make your way to each stop on the hop and come by tomorrow for the final day and more inspiration and chances to win!
