I use Tim Holtz Distress Inks and his Mini Ink Blending tool. I lay a piece of scratch paper or a craft mat underneath my project and move in a circular motion from the scratch paper towards the edge of my project.
You can see when I move my patterned paper that I really do lay a lot of ink down on the scratch paper as I am moving towards my patterned paper.![rk sc october-17](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_uAPCaFIz7Ikd7KSDfgdDs3vH0gEzWcpcOpfCBoqiMtWrpbtPWz8cnENyhDj_ydwQxU2v92m8y0vnUuviPvrsw6YO3E6wINDnPcdovd8zL1C7zw4Tvn7FJdH1gj9y6HdrlG_zzsDNGM6QqmrfM1uYevHwEAqiQMpc94=s0-d)
I think this results in a nice blended look.
I really like the way the orange ink coordinated with the orange in my photo! Thanks for stopping by!
