I remember creating this layout and cutting a bunch of patterned paper strips into different lengths. I couldnt have imagined what an amazing tool the Silhouette cameo would become for me! I went to work using the Scrapbook Circle May Kit High Five, but instead of basic strips, this time I cut a variety of arrows and stitched those down.
I also stitched around the border of the sold cardstock, added some Heidi Swapp epoxy arrows into the mix of stitched arrows and included some faux stitching with a white gel pen around the chartreuse arrows - I like the way the faux stitching and real stitching contrast. I even stitched through my title. (The cool thing about the Jillibean Soup alphas not coming with adhesive is that you can stitch through them without gumming up your needle!)
Instead of a basic journaling card on the bottom left, I had fun with the Heidi Swapp template. I used a thick application of gesso and then stitched a Heidi Swapp clear die cut over it.
I like re-doing old designs to see how different they can look with different colors, photos and kits. I think I am as pleased with the Take 2 as the original so I am encouraged to try this again. Do you ever lift your OLD designs?

Awesome layout...both of them!
