How to Use Queen and Co Refill Sheets to Make a Shaker Card

It is super easy to use Queen and Co.'s Foam Front card kits to quickly and easily make shaker cards. But what if you run out? Be sure to grab some Refill Sheet sets which include double sided adhesive foam sheets and acetate. Then use those with any of your Queen and Co Foam Front Dies.
There are a few extra steps that you need to do to make shaker  cards using the refill sheets, such as making your own card base.
But those steps are simply and can be done in a matter of minutes!

Check out this video to see how to put a shaker card together using the Queen and Co Refill Sheets and Foam Front Dies.

F to the 5th Power - Five Fun Fave Finds on Friday 4

After another break (getting anything done in the summer is rough!!) I am back with another episode of Five Fun Fave Finds on Friday.
The first thing I am focusing on this week are several of the new Distress Oxide Ink colors. It's no secret that I am a big fan of the Distress Oxide Inks. They are so easy to blend, they react so well with water and they stamp beautifully! So I was super excited to see that this release includes many of the bright colors from the Distress Ink family.
While this is not technically not a crafting supply, I grabbed this pen set from Anthropologie the other day and thought they would be perfect for planners!
I love the way they write and the encouraging sentiments are so fun! They also have a nice weight to them and feel well made.
Next up are the Sentiments Dies from Waffle Flower. I love how these die cut perfect sentiment strips that would be great for cards or layouts!
These are not new, even to me, but the Avery Elle stamp and die pockets are a MUST for organizing all my new stamps and dies and keeping them looking nice.
Finally, we have the Tim Holtz Tonic Studios Guillotine trimmer. I am loving keeping this trimmer out on my desk where I do most if my card making. It cuts tiny slivers that are perfectly straight and I really like how they have so many most-used card and photo sizes right on the base.
That's it for this week! My kids actually go back to school in just a couple of weeks so I am hopefully to have more time to be consistent with this series. If you would like to check out the former videos I have created in this series, you can check out the playlist HERE.  If you are interested in any of the products from this week's episode you can find them all linked down below.

Stash Bash - Washi Tape + YouTube Giveaway!

The Stash Bash YouTube hop is a bunch of papercreafters trying to use up a bunch of our supplies...so we can buy more! We hope to provide a little inspiration along the way too! This month the supply to use is washi tape!
It's no secret that I love the Queen and Co Washi Tape. It is thick and vibrant and so easy to work with.
I don't really have a lot of trims in my stash these days, so I decided to make some pleated "trim" using washi tape.
Since washi tape is self adhesive and removable adhesive, it is really easy to fold it on itself to create pleats.
I think the bright pleats compliment the fruits perfectly and would be perfect for a number of paper crafts!
I filmed a little video to show how I created the washi pleats and pulled together the rest of the card:

There is also a video on my YouTube channel! I am giving away a bunch of the washi that I was hoarding and not using.

All you have to do is go over to the video and comment and subscribe to my channel. Easy!

If you are curious about the supplies I used, they are linked down below. Thanks so much for stopping by!
