For the last card using the may release, I reached for the Candibean Safari. I love the adorable safari animals and sweet punny sentiments.
I also used the Woodland Foliage Frames to cut out the two oval layers and the flowers. I used rich jewel tones for my cardstock and then colored in my little lion and grass with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

For today's card, I used the Happy Days Circle sets and the Candibean Safari stamps and dies. I love that the Candibean Safari stamps and dies come in the same package!
Have you tried your hand at using a blending brush yet? The great thing about blending brushes is that they work with pretty much any kind of ink including the fabulous LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks.
I started by die cutting the scalloped edge circle from the Happy Days Circle dies set out of smooth white cardstock. Next, I grabbed the Dark Wash Jeans Ink and used it to lightly blend color for the sky. Then, I used Olive Branch to create the grass. The brush creates a light textured look that is the perfect backdrop for scenes.
I used the Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp my Candibean Safari monkey, tree, grass and banana and used the same ink for the sentiment. The Hybrid ink works well with Copics so I colored my images before adhering them to my brushed background.

Be sure to make your way to each stop on the hop and come by tomorrow for the final day and more inspiration and chances to win!

Now let me show you the first card I made with this month's release! This card was such a breeze to put together with the Petite Pinafore Build-A-Card dies! You get everything you need to create the card base and tons of layers and details!

I cut out my layers and details from the Country Friends Sweet Pea Paper Pack. Perfect for a new arrival girl card!
To make the die cut flowers stand out from my background, I inked the edges with the LDRS Creative Pink Tutu Hybrid Ink. I grabbed an older sentiment set (Just Because) and stamped it with Raven Hybrid Ink right on the little Pinafore.

Now it is time to make sure you've hit all the stops along the hop! Be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win!

Lawn Fawn - For the Boys!

This week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is For the Boys using Lawn Fawn products! Lawn Fawn is easily one of my favorite stamp and die companies so I had to play along!
I used Lawn Fawn patterned paper, cardstock, stamps and dies on this card. I used Copics to color the little monsters and added some Sakura Glaze pen on the monsters eyes and some Tonic Studios Crystal Glaze on the wings and large open monster eye.
Check out all the products I used linked down below!

F to the 5th Power - Top 5 Crafty Storage and Organization Supplies!

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I posted an F5th power video and today's is a special episode! Today I am sharing my top 5 favorite crafty storage and organization supplies!
First up, I get asked a lot about ink pad storage. I have been using the Best Craft Organizer Portaink storage for years. They are much more affordable than some of the other wood organizers I have seen, which saves me money so I can buy more ink pads lol!

I love that they fit so many ink pads in one unit and that there is room at the top for re-inkers, stamp cleaners and other items.
Next up, is my favorite way to store ink cubes.
My collection of ink cubes started with Distress Ink cubes, but it has taken on a life of it's own with these Gina K for Therm O Web cubes and the Simon Says Stamp Hybrid cubes too!
I like that I can keep my Distress Ink foam blenders under the cubes too! Speaking of foam blenders...I DONT like to keep my foam blenders under my Distress Oxide pads because I don't like getting ink on things when I set them down. So instead, I use a sheet of my Ink Swatch storage, which is basically a coin holder.
If you are not already using Jennifer McGuire's method to swatch your inks, you must check it out (I have it linked in my video below).
Next up, is the Queen and Co Trunk storage!
I love keeping all my Queen and Co shaker Toppings in one place and if I am crafting on the go, there are latches and a handle!
Finally, I wanted to share my favorite Interdesign Storage bin.
I have several sizes of the Interdesign bins to store many different items, but this divided bin is the perfect way to store my stamps and dies. I have two next to each other and I love that the Avery Elle Stamp and Die Storage pockets fit inside perfectly!
Want to see all these products up close? Check out this week's F5th Power video:

If you want to check out these storage and organization supplies, I have them all linked down below! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Queen and Company Love Jar Inspiration

The beautiful Queen and Co kit for April is called Love Jar. Now I know it is May, but I have so much inspiration using this kit and wanted to share all the cards here.
For these two cards, I used the the stamp set from the kit to create multi colored stamped backgrounds.
For these one, I added watercoloring to the stamped images by stamping in Distress Inks and then adding water.
For this one I watercolored the inside of the jar for a pretty watery look.
For this one I used some ombre stamping.
And this one is a shaker with only a bit of stamping on the tag, for those who are not as interested in getting inky!
I have a video sharing how to create those cards here:

Last, but not least, for these cards I created a Tone on Tone Pattern on Pattern design:
These two square monochromatic cards were fun to make and result in a different look than the rest of the cards I made with the kit!

I also have a video where I share how to achieve that tone on tone pattern on pattern look here:
Thanks for making it through all those photos! Check out the supplies I used below. Thanks for stopping by!

Faux Watercolor Card with My Favorite Things

This week, the Simon Says Stamp challenge is Anything Goes! They are highlighting My Favorite Things products and MFT happens to be one of MY favorite brands lol! So I created a faux water color look by stamping their Layered Watercolor flowers in Distress Inks and then activating the inks with a waterbrush.

I also used a sentiment from the Brush Letter stamp set to go along with the watercolored look and feel. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Jewel Drops to the centers.
