More Than One Die on a Card

This week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is to use more than one die or punch on a card and to use Memory Box dies if you have them. Well, I had purchased a set of Memory Box heart dies for Valentine's day and never got around to trying them out, so I figured no time like the present!
I cut the large stitched heart and the smaller pink heart from felt using two different Memory Box dies.
I love adding felt to card fronts! And these Memory Box dies make adding stitching a breeze too! Check out this video I made showing how easy it is to use these dies and the different stitching effects you can get using them.
If you would like to see more cards with felt, check out my card class at Big Picture Classes called The Wow Factor: Taking Your Cards to the Next Level. I devote an entire lesson to texture and adding felt is such an easy way to add texture to cards! If you are not already a member of BPC, you can sign up for a FREE trial and take my card class that way!

These are the supplies that I used to make today's card:

How to Stamp Inside a Shaker Window + Queen and Co Shakers

Hi everyone! I am up on the Queen and Co blog today sharing 4 new shaker cards I've created. Behind the scenes I have been busy creating tons and tons of shakers and so it was finally time to share a few!
I love the Foam Fronts because they make creating shaker cards SO easy!
I also love using the coordinating dies because then you can quickly customize your shaker card with any patterned paper or cardstock that you wish!
I used patterned papers from Queen and Co too and love all the bright colors!
I used a bunch of sentiment stamps from Paper Smooches too.
And speaking of stamping sentiments... I created this card with the sentiment stamped right inside the shaker for a different look!
Using pieces from the Foam Front kit and my MISTI, it was very easy to do!
I filmed a quick video to share some tips and tricks to stamping inside a shaker window. You can check it out here:

I hope you'll check it out and try out stamping inside a shaker window! Thanks for stopping by!

Simon Says Stamp Bit O' Green Challenge

It's been a long time since I participated in a challenge. I love challenges because they stretch you to use products or techniques you might not have otherwise. This week's Wednesday challenge on Simon Says Stamp is the Bit O' Green Challenge. I didn't have any Taylored Expressions in my stash, but I did have the March Simon Says kit that I hadn't cracked open yet and there is plenty of spring green in there so I used it to make this card.
The green patterned papers are from an Echo Park 6x6 pad that part of is included in the kit. I layered them and popped up the top with dimensional adhesive and tied it with a green twine bow. I also stamped the sentiment with green Avery Elle pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I am not going to link to the March kit because it is out of stock, but I will link to some of the elements of the kit that are still available AND I will link to the April kit. The April kit is equally as amazing!! If you are interested, I would grab a subscription because these kits sell fast!
