Therm O Web Deco Foils and Paper Issues

It was so fun this month to create with Paper Issues kit and combining it with Therm O Web Deco Foils! For this layout I created my own foiled embellishments using patterned paper from the Paper Issues kit, Therm O Web Deco Foil Foam adhesive and Teal Deco Foil.

First die cut the doughnut bottom out of the patterned paper. Next die cut the frosting from the Deco Foil Foam adeshive. Remove the backing and apply to the doughnut. Then remove the top paper and lay the foil on top and rub with your finger to apply the foil.IMG_6060
Gently lift and voila!

You have an adorable foiled doughnut!

In this layout, I used a patterned paper with lots of type and thought it would be fun to accent some of the letters with gold foil.

First, add elements like dots, lines and more using the Therm O Web Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive. The nozzle is small enough to add even tiny dots or trace along the outside of the letters.

Wait until the liquid dries clear. Generally I let mine dry overnight. Lay the Foils color side up on top and rub the same way you did with the Foam Adhesive. When you remove the foil, it will have transferred to the spots where you applied liquid adhesive!

I love this technique for creating small foiled elements! It adds interest to cards and layouts and coordinates perfectly with other premade foil elements!rk tow paperissues-2

Scrapbook Circle Anniversary Blog Hop!

This month we are celebrating Scrapbook Circle's 9th Anniversary! To celebrate, this week we are doing a blog hop around to our design team members' blogs to showcase some of the fun things we have created with the May Hello Sunshine KitThe hop starts at the Scrapbook Circle blog
Comment along your way while visiting our team members' blogs. Each comment will be one entry in a random drawing where we will be giving away FIVE May Hello Sunshine Kits.
Here is a layout I made with Hello Sunshine!

And while I was at it, I thought I would share the project I created with the Hip Hip Hooray Project Kit:
I don't do a lot of DIY decor type projects, so I loved I that everything I needed to make this cute project was included in the kit!
We hope you feel inspired today! Next stop on the hop is the fabulously talented Audrey Yeager!
**Comments close at midnight PST on May 21. We will post the winners on the Scrapbook Circle blog on May 22.
