Be Real with Scrapbook Circle

I have to say I have LOVED every addition of Be Real on the Scrapbook Circle blog. Seeing how everyone is handling pocket page scrapbooking, everyday scrapbooking and scrapping of Instagram photos is so fun! I was glad my turn was up because I have yet to complete my 2013 album - GASP! I know! In attempt to get caught up, I have 3 pocket page spreads featuring Instagram photos to share with you today using Scrapbook Circle's Portabello Road kit and New Goods add on.

I love using Scrapbook Circle kits for my pocket page scrapbooking because everything coordinates without looking too matchy-matchy. It is always fun to layer stickers over journaling cards, journaling cards over patterned paper or exclusive Scrapbook Circle flair over flash cards.

You can even layer die cuts right on photos:

I love all the 3x4 cards and tags that fit so easily into my pocket pages (I use Simple Stories pocket pages).

I had fun with the exclusive Scrapbook Circle stamp and even heat embossed!

There are always so many amazing goodies inside a Scrapbook Circe kit that your pocket page layouts don't have to look flat and dimensionless.

Another benefit of using Scrapbook Circle kits for your pocket page scrapping? Exclusive digital cut files! There are always some cute 3x4 card cut files included that are perfect to mix in to your spreads.  I love the cut out shapes and words on the 3x4 cards and here I backed them with a fun multi color patterned paper and added a My Mind's Eye sticker on top.

And with that I am ALMOST done with 2013! Thanks for stopping by for this edition of Be Real! See you next time!

Simple Stories A Charmed Life

Hi Simple Stories fans! Rebecca Keppel here with one of my favorite Simple Stories releases A Charmed Life. I adore the colors, the designs and just everything about this new collection, but I especially love how versatile it is. You can make an everday card:

Scrapbook Circle Portobello Road - One Item Wonder

My One Item Wonder from the Match Scrapbook Circle Add On New Goods was the Studio Calico wood veneer numbers. They were so fun and large that I wanted to use several of them on one layout as a BIG title.
First, I spray painted the numbers.
Then I added some additional painted elements with paint pens.
As a title they make such a big impact. Dont ya think? How are you using the Studio Calico Wood Veneer Numbers? Be sure to load up your layouts to the Scrapbook Circle Facebook Page so we can see!

Scrapbook Circle Portobello Road

If you have a boy in your life you know sometimes it is hard to find fun scrapbooking goodies to compliment layouts about them. Well Scrapbook Circle's March kit (Portobello Road) is chock full of goodies that are fun and perfect for the boy in your life.

For this layout I layered a bunch of the Crate Paper cards and Bella Blvd die cuts which had lots of fun boy themes and sentiments.

I had fun blocking the cards and photo for my Lego layout and I stamped the exclusive Scrapbook Circle stamp in a darker gray than the Elle's Studio patterned paper for a tone on tone effect.

Are you having fun with some of the boy-themed items in this month's kit? Be sure to upload your layouts to the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page - you never know when one might be featured!
