Confession time. I am terrified of 2 pagers. Years ago, when I started scrapbooking, I made them all the time, but since those beginning days I became so much more comfortable with single 12 x 12 pages. But, I had a bunch of birthday pictures that I wanted to use up and thought it was time to try one.
Simple Stories SN@P! actually made it quite easy. SN@P provides a rainbow of colors in the cutest patterns. Start with a mmixed font and color title, pop up some stickers on 3D adhesive...
use a combination of mini alphas, punched pattern paper and label to mark each photo and journal.
Add in a few extra word and tape stickers and strips of patterned paper on each edge to tie it all together.
And there you have it! Thank YOU Simple Stories for helping me get over my 2 pager fear!

Scrapbook Circle's Charmed Life
The Scrapbook Circle March Kit is called Charmed Life and I adore it.
For this layout I decided to play with the idea of symmetry. I split the page down the middle--half with red cardstock and half with blue. The strip of chevron was perfect as a middle point to cover up the seam.
This month's Scrapbook Circle Add On Lucky Girl included an Amy Tangerine sewing kit and template with the cutest designs. One of the simplest designs was actually my favorite - a rectangle of diagonal stripes. Such a cool idea. I used the string from the kit. When I ran out of one color I just went to the next.
On the girl side of the layout I used the Dear Lizzy die cut. The title words were cut with my Cameo. I used the 6 x 6 pads so the designs would be smaller (perfect for title words!) You can see the little Dear Lizzy horses on the She Says:
Each side has a 4x4 black and white photo. On one side I included a few extra goodies because I figured exact symmetry was boring ;)
Do you use symmetry in your layouts? I would love to see!
