Welcome SN@P!!

I know I am not alone when I say that SN@P is one of the coolest collections to come out in a long time! Bright, happy colors, playful, fun designs--polka dots and chevron, fabulous images of cameras and @ signs. Sigh it is just the best ever! But how many uses are there for SN@P? Turns out there are tons and we are highlighting them all on the Simple Stories blog this week. Definitely check out all the designers ideas, from couponing to Project Life and beyond! I decided to use my SN@P binder to make an Instagram mini album. You see, I only recently joined Instagram, but from the moment I did, I was hooked. I love having a mini camera in my purse and being able to play with actions or filters and share them instantly was the icing on the cake. Next I found Postal Pix and when they started printing up Instagrams in 2x2 sizes, I started getting them printed. Which led me to the question....now what do I do with all these 2x2 everyday photos? A SN@P album of course:
Seriously how cute are the Polaroids and cameras???

I am breaking my album up by month and created a page with a mini pocket to mark each month. The pocket can hold extra pics or even small bits of memorabilia.
Each page can be made with different page protectors depending on how many photos...
or how much journaling I want to include.
The entire SN@P collection is amazing and includes label stickers, alphas, mini typset alphas, icon stickers, 6x6 paper pads and on and on. I seriously used a little bit of everything to make this book!
So now I have a place to house all those everyday pictures. Like the one above on the left that my kids and I took on the day they got their awesome progress reports or about favorite foods...
This system is perfect for me. The ability to scrap those crazy little Instagrams I love so much, and tell everyday stories without the stress of taking on something as big as Project Life.
SN@P makes it really easy to tell your stories too. Journaling cards and label stickers are easily typed or written on...
Date, day and month stickers make it easy to mark time. I already have makers done for the next few months with pockets ready to go:

and I LOVE the speech bubbles for journaling or little pics:
So there you have it--SN@P is perfect for your Instagram!
And Scrapbook.com has it all, you can get your very own SN@P HERE.

Simple Stories SN@P

Oooooh, how I LOVE Simple Stories latest collection SN@P. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I literally LOVE everything about it. The bright colors, the playful patterns, the fun new additions (alpha packs and mini typeset packs and label packs) LOVE LOVE LOVE. I seriously can not verbalize how happy this collection makes me :) So instead I will show you the first layout I made with SN@P (that's right, SN@P is NOT just for Project Lifers, though it may be perfect for those folks too).
I told the Simple Stories folks that I think they made this collection for ME. But from what I am hearing out on the street, it seems like it is making a lot of people very happy ;) So fun. Scrapping with this line is just plain fun. You can go check out all the details on the Simple Stories blog and see all the fun product included in SN@P. I would love to do a SN@P giveaway but right now I am hoarding every piece I can get my hands on lol. Maybe I will buy an extra collection kit to give away here so I dont feel so guilty about hoarding all I have lol!
Have a SN@Ppy night!

Scrapbook Circle News Flash & Giveaway!!

Well, it is no News Flash that I LOVE Scrapbook Circle kits. I went a little crazy this month and got two add ons (Hapenning, which is sold out AND Bulletin) along with the main October Kit News Flash. I couldnt help myself. I love the mix of manufacturers and lines and the mix of product. Everything in all three of these kits is something I would have wanted to buy  individually, and seeing the way they work together is magic! So if you want one I would hurry before News Flash and Bulletin are sold out too. Anyway, my first layout of the month was a challenge to use the Studio Calico Wood Veneer speech bubbles:
I have a thing for Studio Calico Wood Veneer. I have been hoarding the little butterflies from oh so long ago :) But usually, I leave them as is because I really like the natural wood look. Here though I wanted to use them for a pop of color on an otherwise very neutral layout. I sprayed them with Mister Huey's and rubbed the extra mist into the wood with my finger and ended up with very vibrant colors:
I was up on the Scrapbook Circle blog again yesterday talking about the Pink Paislee stamp set that is part of the Bulletin add on. I ♥ this stamp set. You project lifers will ♥ this stamp set.
I always forget how much fun stamping on layouts can be :)
On to the GIVEAWAY! I have an extra Pink Paislee stamp set and a package of Studio Calico Wood Veneer frames.

* All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below. I will draw a winner Sunday night.
**If you want a second entry, follow my blog and leave me another comment telling me you are a new follower or already follow.
***Want a third chance to enter? Go over to Scrapbook Circle and check things out. Leave me a comment on THIS blog post about whether you like to stamp on layouts and then leave me a comment here telling me you did.
Good luck!

Scrapbook.com Halloween Curiosities

Where is the year going? This is really the time of year when it seems like we are all on fast forward. On the one hand I want to move ahead to to the fun fall activities and weather, on the other hand I really need the days to just SLOW down! But here we are well into October. I have to share a super fun Halloween kit from Scrapbook.com called Halloween Curiosities. You can pick one up HERE without a subscription.
I made several layouts from last years pictures. Scrapbook.com has some fun monthly challenges over in the forums. You can check out this month's challenges HERE. For starters there was a challenge to make a Halloween layout using 5 patterned papers:
And there is a great sketch challenge. Here is my take on the sketch:
I did one more Halloween layout.  I love the way my friend's cute blondie kids are smiling and my two look like they want to hurt me ;)
The last Scrapbook.com challenge was to do a layout with 75% purple. A real challenge right? So my one non-Halloween layout with the kit:
Is everyone ready for Halloween this year? We have costumes and started decorating today. Now to plan the visit to the pumpkin patch--my favorite!
Dont forget to check out the Scrapbook.com Halloween Curiosities if you love Halloween as much as I do!
Night!
