Upsy Daisy Springtime layouts

This month at Upsy Daisy Designs we are celebrating with Springtime layouts and other projects. The funny thing about Spring in the Southwest is that we are pretty much enjoying summer weather. The mornings and late nights may be cool, but usually the days heat up. So, for example, last easter, the kids had long sleeves and pants pajamas on when they found eggs, but by the afternoon they were playing in their new sprinkler. I thought I would show a bit of both this month. Here is a layout using Upsy Daisy's See You Later Alligator line:
I thought that the B side of the Alphabet Soup paper looked like a decorated Easter egg:
I love the journaling square patterned paper that comes with every Upsy Daisy collection:
My other layout this month uses pictures from later that day. For this layout I used the Vogue line:
The "pocket full of sunshine" is a rub on that I placed on white cardstock and then cut out:
I am not much of a fussy cutter, but these flowers are just begging to be cut out:
What is Spring like in your neck of the woods? I remember going to college in Connecticut and coming back to snow after spring break! Some of you may be tempted to be jealous of our warm weather right now, but let me alleviate that by telling you that we read we are supposed to get record highs this summer. We may even hit 125! UGH! And on that terrifying note, have a great night!
:) Rebecca
